What is Y@M?
Y@M (Youth@Madera) is the youth ministry of Madera Church. We are a co-ed, Jr. High and High school-based group that meets weekly at the Evangelical Free Church of Green Valley, Wednesday’s at 6pm. 1393 W Mission Twin Buttes Rd.(entrance on the backside of the building).
Purpose Statement:
The Youth@Madera mission is three fold:
1) To foster a safe space to learn about and worship Jesus through His Word, song, prayer and fellowship.
2) To nurture spiritual growth and discipleship, spurring on young future leaders in the Church.
3) To establish a foundation of Christlike love for one another and a culture of service and evangelism to our local communities.
What We do:
A typical night at Y@M begins with snacks, music and leisure time for fellowship including fun-filled games. The night officially begins with brief announcements, and a team-bonding exercise or game. From there we transition to worship via song facilitated by a student-led band. Pastor Ryan then shares a message based on a book of the Bible. Our series cover both Old Testament, and New Testament books while also incorporating topical series based on relevant topics surrounding youth. We then close our service with small groups focused on biblical discussion and prayer.

Come join us on a Wednesday evening and see what we're all about! Once connected, there are several ways you can serve including on our worship team, tech and social media, first impressions and more! Or, feel free to get plugged in by joining us during some of our extra curricular gatherings as we serve our local community through various service projects, partner with local organizations for evangelism, or during one of our team bonding events! (hikes, mini golf, bowling, pool party, etc). We look forward to getting to know you!
